Next, the Commodores face the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Perry County Central will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Redhounds enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY).

The Wildcats now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson City for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Buckhorn will face a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
