Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Heritage for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. Pepperell will battle a Lions squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Armuchee falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Darlington (Rome, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 29. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
