Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the visiting Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA), witnessed Trion's softball squad tip Chattooga by a count of 6-4.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dade County for a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Tuesday, August 29.

With the loss, Chattooga moves to 2-4 on the season. The Indians travel to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA) to meet the Ramblers in a non-league match on Monday, August 28. The Ramblers go into the match with a record of 3-4. LaFayette lost 7-4 in their recent league match against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA)
