The Walnut Grove Warriors softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears to 4 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Walnut Grove moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to clash with the Titans in a 4A Region 8 game on Tuesday, August 29. The Titans come into the game with a record of 9-3.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a 4A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, August 29. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record.
