The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) and the host Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA), saw Collins Hill's softball squad nip Dacula by a count of 7-5.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. Collins Hill will face a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Dacula falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA) to face the Bears in a 7A Region 8 match on Tuesday, August 29. The Bears enter the match with a record of 6-4. Mountain View lost 4-3 in their recent league match against Buford (Buford, GA)
