Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Collinsville Cardinals (Collinsville, OK), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Oak for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Tahlequah will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Leflore (Leflore, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Collinsville falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Glenpool (Glenpool, OK) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 10-13. Glenpool lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Jones (Jones, OK)
