Stroud Tigers (Stroud, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chandler for a 3A challenge on Saturday, August 26. Stroud will battle a Lions squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, OK). The Lions record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Okemah falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pawnee (Pawnee, OK) to battle the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. The Black Bears enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Pawnee lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Luther (Luther, OK)
