Mississippi High School Volleyball - Alcorn Central over Kossuth

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) and the visiting Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS), saw Alcorn Central's volleyball squad beat Kossuth by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Alcorn Central upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Bears host Corinth (Corinth, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Corinth lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Walnut (Walnut, MS)

The Aggies now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Russellville for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Kossuth will play a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wilson (Florence, AL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
