In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Ballard Bombers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets.
The Bombers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Chariton lost by Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cadets clash with the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 26. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA).
