The Douglas County Tigers volleyball team (Douglasville, GA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA)

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hiram (Hiram, GA). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Hiram notched a victory over McNair (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

The Tigers now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Campbell for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Douglas County will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-5.
