North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Forsyth can't hold off Northwest Guilford

August 24, 2023: Kernersville, NC 27284

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the East Forsyth Eagles.

The Vikings now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Guilford for a Metro 4A test on Tuesday, August 29. Northwest Guilford will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 0-7.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Raiders enter the Central Piedmont 4A test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Reagan held off McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
