Georgia High School Volleyball - Oglethorpe County over Elbert County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) and the host Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), saw Oglethorpe County's volleyball squad beat Elbert County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Oglethorpe County upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Athens Academy (Athens, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Athens Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)

The Blue Devils now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Madison County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Elbert County will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 10-5.
