The Putnam County War Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Glenn Hills Spartans to 0 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The War Eagles now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a 2A Area 4 game on Tuesday, August 29. Putnam County will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-7.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Josey (Augusta, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Josey dropped by Johnson (Augusta, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
