In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lynnville-Sully Hawks.
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Comets come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, BCLUW achieved victory over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 24. Lynnville-Sully will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Sabers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to East Union (Afton, IA).
