The Neshoba Central Rockets volleyball team (Philadelphia, MS), went down 3-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS)

The Trojans (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights come into the Class 4 Region 5 challenge with a 16-5 record.

Next, the Rockets encounter the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 28. Neshoba Central will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record.
