The Wayne County Yellow Jackets volleyball team (Jesup, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA)

The Raiders (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the 4A Area 3 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Bulloch defeated Brunswick (Brunswick, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a 4A Area 3 challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Wayne County will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Sharks enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA).
