The El Capitan Gauchos flag football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Atwater Falcons to 20 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gauchos now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Orestimba for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. El Capitan will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 26-18 non-league loss to Pitman (Turlock, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Atwater drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pitman (Turlock, CA) to meet the Pride in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Pride come into the test with a record of 4-0. Pitman won 14-12 in their recent non-league test against Sierra (Manteca, CA)
