In Saturday's league outing, the host Fernley Vaqueros soccer squad scored a nice 14-0 victory over the West Wendover Wolverines.

The Vaqueros (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the 3A Northern - East outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Battle Mountain was overwhelmed by Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 14-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a 3A Northern - East outing, on Friday, August 30. West Wendover will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Buckaroos go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 11-0 league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV).
