In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Canutillo Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Austin Panthers.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Socorro was nudged by Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers battle the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Austin will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
