In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Whitesboro Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Wister Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Red Oak (Red Oak, OK). The Eagles come into the Class B match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Red Oak was nipped by Stuart (Stuart, OK), 6-1, in a league contest.
The Wildcats now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Coalgate for a non-league contest on Monday, August 26.
