In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bay Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Long Beach Bearcats.
The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Presbyterian Christian lost by Lamar (Meridian, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bearcats play the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Long Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Vancleave (Vancleave, MS).
