The Wylie Bulldogs volleyball squad (Abilene, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's league battle with the host Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX)

With the win, Coronado improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Keller Central (Keller, TX) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 8-5. Keller Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Lewisville (Lewisville, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weatherford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. Wylie will encounter a Kangaroos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 12-6.
