In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Edna Cowboys volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the East Bernard Brahmas.

The Cowboys (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Flatonia beat Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Brahmas meet the La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. East Bernard will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX).
