The East Carter Raiders edged the visiting Fleming County Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a District 62 game, on Monday, August 26. East Carter will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Comets go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings go into the District 61 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Rowan County nudged Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
