In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fleming County Panthers.

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Lewis County was nudged by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Fleming County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY).
