Kentucky High School Volleyball - Walton-Verona Grant County

Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Grant County improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Braves travel to Villa Madonna (Covington, KY) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 4-0. Villa Madonna won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Holmes (Covington, KY)

Next, the Bearcats battle the Bellevue Tigers (Bellevue, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Walton-Verona will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY).
