In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Starkville Academy Volunteers.

The Indians (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton beat Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Volunteers play the Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Starkville Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS).
