In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rancho Verde Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Moreno Valley Vikings.

The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Eisenhower was nudged by Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 26. Moreno Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA).
