The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL) and the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), saw Gulf Shores's volleyball squad nip Daphne by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Gulf Shores upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Dolphins host Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Freshman Opponent for a bout on Friday, August 26.
