The Lone Peak Knights soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Westlake Thunder to 0 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Knights face the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 6A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, August 30. Lone Peak will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to American Fork (American Fork, UT).
The Thunder now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Corner Canyon for a 6A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, August 30. Westlake will face a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 2-5.
