In Thursday's league battle, the visiting St. Maries Lumberjacks soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Grangeville Bulldogs.
The Lumberjacks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID). The Tigers come into the 3A District I battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Timberlake was nudged by McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Badgers come into the 3A District I battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Bonners Ferry nudged Priest River (Priest River, ID), 13-0, in a league battle.
