The Carrollton Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Heard County Braves to 4 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Carrollton improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Friday, August 26. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 5-4. Pickens won 8-5 in their recent league game against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)
In their next game, the Braves clash with the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 4 game, on Tuesday, August 30. Heard County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
