Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Grove for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 29. Woodland will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, McDonough falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warhawks host Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to face the Knights in a 4A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Pace Academy lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against East Hall (Gainesville, GA)
