The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes the visiting Social Circle Redskins softball squad by a count of 5-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Purple Hurricanes (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Prince Avenue Christian by Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
The Redskins now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Loganville Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, August 29. Social Circle will meet a Lions squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.
