Mississippi High School Volleyball - Alcorn Central over Tishomingo County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) and the visiting Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), saw Alcorn Central's volleyball squad beat Tishomingo County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Alcorn Central upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bears host Corinth (Corinth, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Corinth lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS)

The Braves now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kossuth for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Tishomingo County will play a Aggies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Aggies record now stands at 9-3.
