The Calvary Baptist Eagles topped the visiting School of the Woods Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Calvary Baptist will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Angleton Christian (Angleton, TX). The Warriors enter the TCAL 2A District 6 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Angleton Christian was knocked off by Brazosport Christian (Lake Jackson, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.
