The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Chilhowie Warriors to 1 in the Scarlet Hurricanes non-league victory on Monday.

The Scarlet Hurricanes now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Marion will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.

The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Fort Chiswell gained a win over Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
