The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cocke County Fighting Cocks to 1 in the Trojans league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league game on Monday, August 29. Morristown-Hamblen West will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-4.
The Fighting Cocks (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Pigeon Forge dropped by Seymour (Seymour, TN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
