The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC) and the host South Creek Cougars (Robersonville, NC), saw Columbia's volleyball squad beat South Creek by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 1-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Perquimans for a Four Rivers 1A bout on Thursday, September 1. South Creek will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
