The Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) volleyball overcame the host Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Fike upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Demons host West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Quad County 3A outing on Tuesday, August 30. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 1-3.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Beddingfield for a non-league outing on Monday, August 29. Nash Central will play a Bruins squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.
