North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Wayne over Kinston

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) and the host Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), saw Southern Wayne's volleyball squad beat Kinston by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Southern Wayne upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Saints travel to East Wake (Wendell, NC) to play the Warriors in a Quad County 3A bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-5. East Wake lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bunn (Bunn, NC)

The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Lenoir for a East Central 2A bout on Tuesday, September 6.
