The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the host Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), saw Mountain View's volleyball squad beat Parkview by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Bears host Buford (Buford, GA) to play the Wolves in a 7A Area 8 bout on Monday, August 29. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Buford won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lassiter (Marietta, GA)

The Panthers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Loganville Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Parkview will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 9-6.
