North Carolina High School Volleyball - Swain County over Tuscola

August 25, 2022: Bryson City, NC 28713

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) and the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), saw Swain County's volleyball squad beat Tuscola by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Swain County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Maroon Devils travel to Andrews (Andrews, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Mountaineers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. Tuscola will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
