Pennsylvania High School Football - Bishop Guilfoyle drops to Bald Eagle Area

August 25, 2023: Wingate, PA 16823

In Friday's league game, the Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA), by a final score of 17-7.

The Bald Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils come into the Laurel Highlands game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Central Cambria toppled Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA), 15-10, in a league game.

The Marauders now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McCort for a Laurel Highlands game on Saturday, September 2. Bishop Guilfoyle will battle a Crushers team coming off a 15-10 league loss to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 0-1.
