The St. John's Islanders football team (John's Island, SC), was ripped 44-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC)
The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, North Charleston was ripped by Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC), 46-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Islanders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Denmark-Olar for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. St. John's will meet a Vikings team coming off a 22-15 non-league win over Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
