The Shawnee Indians football team (Lima, OH), was tipped 13-9 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Elida Bulldogs (Elida, OH)

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kenton (Kenton, OH). The Wildcats come into the Western Buckeye challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Kenton nipped Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH), 52-29, in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath for a Western Buckeye challenge on Friday, September 1. Shawnee will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 64-42 league loss to Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
