Indiana High School Football - Hanover Central knocks off Hammond Morton

August 25, 2023: Cedar Lake, IN 46303

The Hanover Central Wildcats football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Hammond Morton Governors to 14 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a Northwest Crossroads battle on Friday, September 1. Hanover Central will play a Trojans squad coming off a 46-7 non-league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Governors play the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Hammond Morton will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 35-29 non-league loss to Northridge (Middlebury, IN).
