The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons to 0 in the Defenders non-league victory on Friday.

The Defenders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills Classical Christian for a game on Tuesday, August 29. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC). The Defenders enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record.
