The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Apprentice Academy Red Wolves to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a non-league game on Monday, August 28. Piedmont Community Charter will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-0.
The Red Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets enter the Metro Eight 1A game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Carolina International gained a win over Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
