The Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) volleyball tipped the host Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Oilers travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Friday, August 25. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Cadillac won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI)

The Copper Kings now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Iron Mountain for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7.
